Friends and family are remembering the life of a Piedmont triad baseball coach who died of complications from the flu last week. Harrison Vaughan, 25, was the head varsity baseball coach at Calvary Day School in Winston-Salem. Vaughan began his baseball career at 4 years old. He went on to play baseball in middle and high school at Calvary. He returned as the school’s assistant coach two years ago and was promoted to head coach this season.
