Denison approves funds for new visitors center – KTEN [Video]

DENISON, Texas (KTEN) — In 2019, flames left a blank space in the heart of Denison. After the approval of an almost 4 million dollar bond by City Council, Denison will be able to tell its story to visitors once again.

On the July 1st city council meeting, the thumbs up was given to $3.86 million in funding for the construction of what will be the future visitor center.

This development marks a step forward since a building fire in October of 2019, which destroyed three businesses and two residential lofts that left a large hole on Main Street.
