A degree is still important, but not essential [Video]

While many in South Africa aspire to obtain a university degree, the fact of the matter is that based solely on the number of universities and their space, not everybody can receive university education.

The good news is that there are alternatives be that TVET colleges or other private tertiary education institutions. There are also a number of initiatives available to aim to skill up the youth and even older folks throughout South Africa.

One such initiative is WeThinkCode_. The software development educator was established in 2016 and since then hundreds have passed through its halls. This week we sit down with Sethu Komani Chief Commercial Officer at WeThinkCode_ to discuss degrees, alternatives and continuous learning.
