TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – It’s a partnership aimed at easing the nationwide teacher shortage; while also starting the conversation about future careers with high school students.
Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is taking a fundamental campus program, for high school students. Life Design was launched at BGSU four years ago. Adrienne Ausdenmoore, the assistant vice president and executive director at the Geoffrey H. Radbill Center for College and Life Design, said the program is in place with student success in mind.
“Life Design is a university-wide initiative here at Bowling Green State University where we are really committed to ensuring that our students are empowered with the skills and resources to be career and life-ready,” said Ausdenmoore.
Ausdenmoore adds that participating students are taught design thinking principles that help students intentionally decide what they want to do when they graduate while maximizing the college experience.
