Burlington County awards grants to preserve local history [Video]

Three Burlington County historical organizations have been selected to receive grants in the second round of the county’s history grants program. The Bordentown Historical Society, the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of New Jersey, and the Pemberton Township Historic Trust will receive funding to support various preservation projects.

The grants, totaling $19,150, are in addition to the $58,711 awarded to nine other county organizations during the first round earlier this year. The funding is made possible by the New Jersey Historical Commission’s County History Partnership Program, which assists local history organizations and nonprofits.
