JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – We are on track for another gloomy day in central MS with overcast skies and warm temperatures starting us off.
A few places are seeing some light showers early on our Thursday morning. Heavier rain is possible this afternoon. A few of the thunderstorms that move in could bring damaging wind gusts and hail with them, but these will miss most people. Timing will be from 3 PM – 6 PM (just in time to slow you down on your evening commute). Scattered sprinkles are back Friday and into the first part of Saturday.
Saturday afternoon will bring some changes for us with temperatures only topping out in the low to mid-70s and heavier rain/t-storms in the mix by the nighttime hours. This means the first half of the day will be good to go if you want to get outdoors! Sunday, however, does not look …
