Clean-up begins following storms across Northeast Wisconsin [Video]

TWO RIVERS, Wis. (WBAY) – People across Northeastern Wisconsin are starting to clean up after storms leave damage and knock out power.

“The lady next door came over and she said we got garbage all over the neighborhood. She had picked up most of it, but she goes, ‘Your tree doesn’t look that healthy,’” Wayne Schultz said outside his Two Rivers home. “Yeah, we had lost a major limb on the tree so. It’s unfortunate. We’ll see if we can save the tree but we’ll go on from there.”

Schultz called professionals in to saw away the damaged limbs and grind up branches.

“Not a way to start the day… yeah.”

Schultz said he heard a lot of wind early in the morning, but he didn’t think much of it until his neighbor told him to look outside.
