Columbus, Ga (WRBL)- This afternoon was yet another beautiful day with temperatures just a little but cooler than yesterday. Afternoon highs warmed into the lower 60s, but overnight, readings will drop back into the low to mid 30s.
Clouds will move back into the forecast starting tomorrow afternoon, and they will continue to build through Friday. Temperatures take a jump back into the lower 70s Friday ahead of our next system moving in this weekend.
While the rain will likely hold off for the start of the weekend, overcast skies be here for our Saturday. Showers don’t move in until late Saturday night, and will continue to spread through Sunday. We can’t rule out a few thunderstorms in the mix Sunday afternoon either. Rain chances start to back off again by Tuesday morning.
