First Alert Forecast: a dry start to Daylight Saving Time [Video]

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Gusty showers and storms officially delivered 0.25 inches of rain to Wilmington Airport Saturday; tallies were quite variable with scattered ponding across the Cape Fear Region. In what’s been an overall soggy start to the month, the Port City’s March rain total is now up to 2.36 inches.

7:15 p.m. sunsets return for your Sunday evening. For Sunday night: expect mostly clear skies, temperatures cooling off into the upper 30s as we head into Monday. Monday will begin with a later sunrise of 7:26 a.m. amid a chilly start and will finish with sunny, crisp 60s for the afternoon.
