JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Tonight: The rest of this weekend will be quiet as temperatures will stay on the warmer side in the 60s tonight. An isolated shower can’t be ruled out but most of us will stay dry the rest of this evening. Overnight, you can expect a pretty mild start to the week as temperatures cool off only a few degrees into the low 60s with mostly cloudy skies.
Monday: Stormy weather will develop heading into Monday afternoon and Monday evening. Thunderstorms will develop later on in the day and some of them may become strong. A marginal risk (1/5) is in place for the potential of gusty winds and large hail. This risk will carry overnight and into early Tuesday morning. Temperatures throughout the day will stick around in the middle 70s and only drop a few degrees into the low 60s.
