First Alert Weather: Elevated fire danger starting the new week [Video]

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – After a chilly Saturday stuck in the clouds, clearing will arrive for Saturday night, along with rather cool conditions into Sunday morning. Sunshine will be common on Sunday, with a breezy & milder afternoon. However, the fire danger will be elevated on Sunday & Monday afternoons due to a dry air mass in place and brisk winds. Relief from the fire risk will arrive through some showers on Monday night and Tuesday. Later in the week, the next storm system to impact the Badger State is forecast to produce widespread rain, along with a chance of storms.
