FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Scattered rain today through midweek [Video]

Good Sunday morning, the rain has returned to the forecast but we still have a few more days with below average temperatures. The activity will remain scattered in nature throughout the day with periods of dry time between. There’s no reason to cancel your plans, but be sure to check radar before heading outdoors.

The overall thunderstorm chances are low so most of it will be light to moderate rain. We still have some dry air in the mid levels which will keep washout potential very low. Under most cloudy skies, temperatures are forecast to hit the upper 70s with potentially some low 80s to our northern counties. A trough digs into the Ozarks through the near term, continuing the daily rain chances.
