A natural gas leak led to the evacuation of some folks living in the area of North Whitfield and East High streets in Nazareth, a utility spokesman said.
John Mason, a spokesman for UGI Utilities Inc., told lehighvalleylive.com excavation crews shortly after 10:30 a.m. Thursday accidentally struck the line. Mason confirmed folks have been evacuated, but didn’t have specifics on how many.
