Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) called for the U.S. Secret Service and other government agencies to lose funding on Friday, just six days after a series of security lapses nearly resulted in the shooting death of former President Donald Trump.
Trump was speaking in Butler, Pennsylvania, last Saturday when a gunman opened fire on his rally. Trump was shot through the ear. Two of his supporters were also wounded while a third – former firefighter Corey Comperatore – was killed protecting his family.
After Comperatore’s Friday evening funeral, Roy joined The Ingraham Angle on Fox News to discuss who he thought was to blame for the shooting of Trump and the death of Comperatore.
