A cyber security expert says Jackson County government faces a difficult challenge to restore its services after a Ransomware attack Tuesday.”This isn’t a matter of flicking a switch and everything coming back on. It’s a gradual process,” said Brett Callow, a threat analyst for a company called Emsisoft, which sells software to protect against cyber-attacks. “And the county, like other victims, will probably be trying to work out the best timetable for bringing that system safely back online.
