‘Loving WV’ storefront opens in Fairmont, celebrates West Virginia’s 161st birthday [Video]

FAIRMONT, W.Va (WDTV) – Dreams became a reality for the Chapman family on Thursday. Evan and Evan-Nicole were joined by dozens of their family members, friends and city officials for the ribbon cutting of their business’ first storefront. ‘Loving WV’ moved to 219 Monroe Street in Fairmont after about a decade of operating online. Feeling home-sick after moving out of state, Evan started designing West Virginia-inspired gear and from there the business grew. Now, it has come full circle for the Fairmont State University alum, on the state’s 161st birthday.

“We’ve been hard at it for a couple of years, renovating and getting everything set up,” said Evan Chapman. “I’m super excited that it’s finally here and everything is open. West Virginia Day was kind of the perfect day to get it open.”
