Bailey allegedly robbed a business in the 100 block of S Center Street around 8:18 a.m., police say.
Stockton Police Department officials say 50-year-old Christopher Bailey was identified as a suspect in the suspicious death after investigators found out the 66-year-old victim was in an “altercation” with the suspect. Bailey was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of robbery and homicide charges.
It’s unclear how the victim died and the investigation remains ongoing.
