ScaleX Summit to take place in Belfast [Video]

The ScaleX Summit will take place at ICC Belfast on Wednesday, November 13 and is set to attract over 900 businesspeople from across Ireland and the UK.

The summit is the brainchild of Simple Scaling co-founders Brendan McGurgan and Claire Colvin.

This year, entrepreneur, author and co-founder of Dent Global, Daniel Preistley will speak at the summit designed to help SME leaders elevate their businesses.

Recognised as one of the Top 10 Business Advisors in the UK by Enterprise Nation and ranked as one of the top 25 entrepreneurs in London in the Smith and Willamson Power 100 awards, Priestley’s address will challenge SME owners to play their part in making Ireland and the UK a global scaling powerhouse.

With over 324,000 firms employing less than 10 people, micro-businesses generate €155bn in revenue each year.

However, the 3,817 businesses that employ between 50 and 249 people are responsible for €142.9bn of the €420bn turnover generated by Irish SMEs annually.
