MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – An incoming cold front will bring some not-as-hot of temperatures around the Mid-South as well as a drop in humidity values.
Starting on Sunday, what you feel is going to be very location dependent. The further to the south you are, the less you are going to initially feel that cold front. Parts of the Mississippi Delta will still be under excessive heat warnings or heat advisories for Sunday, August 18th, which means that heat index values can and will still climb above 105°. As you’ll see in the graphic below, there aren’t a bunch of counties within the excessive heat warnings or heat advisories, but there are a few.
If you are north of I-40, there is at least a small chance of seeing upper 80s …
