The Microsoft outage is having significant affects in Maine [Video]

An internet outage affecting Microsoft was disrupting flights, banks, media outlets and companies across the world, with problems continuing hours after the technology company said it was gradually fixing an issue affecting access to Microsoft 365 apps and services.In Maine, many flights out of the Portland International Jetport were either delayed or canceled Friday morning. There were even impacts on flights scheduled for Friday afternoon.Many passengers were frustrated at the Jetport Friday morning. American Airlines, Delta and United were all reporting issues. Southwest Airlines was still operating as normal.Jetport Director Paul Bradbury called it a “significant impact” especially given it happened during the busy summer travel season. He said the impacts vary widely by airline, but that moving through the rest of the day, delays would be the biggest issue.
