Among the many threats to the United States’ national security, China undeniably rises to the top. As their military has grown significantly in size and sophistication, they have made more explicit promises to invade Taiwan and hardened their intentions to destabilize America’s position as the world’s leading economic power.

In their attempts to compete with our country, the Chinese government has stolen American intellectual property, manipulated their currency to hurt American workers, and have used their emboldened military to threaten our allies in the Pacific with alarming plans to expand their territory.

This fall, voters across the country will decide which leaders we trust to stand up to China and the threats they pose. One of the candidates auditioning to do so, Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate David McCormick, has disqualified himself.
