EDMONTON — In what has become a very intense series, the Florida Panthers have a third chance to clinch Lord Stanley’s Cup, as they are back in Canada for Game 6 against the Edmonton Oilers on Friday night.

While the Oilers bombarded the Panthers’ net in Game 4 to stay alive, the narrative was not the same in the fifth game. However, Edmonton had a great start, jumping out to a 3-0 lead, and holding a 4-1 lead by the latter half of the second period. However, Florida rallied, cutting the deficit to one. However, a gutsy effort by the Oilers and goaltender Stuart Skinner helped Edmonton hang for a 5-3 win, sending the series back to Alberta.
Skinner ended up making 29 saves on Tuesday night, while captain Connor McDavid posted four points for the second game in a row.
