WRECC celebrates members with annual meeting [Video]

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – Held each year in July, WRECC’s annual meeting is an opportunity for the company to celebrate its members.

Leading up to the meeting, all WRECC offices held drive-thru registrations for the meeting from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. With each registration, members were given a bucket containing gifts from the co-op.

“We appreciate our members,” said Regina Shanklin, Member Services Representative. “Each member comes through, they register with their ID, [and] we give them a bucket with bulbs and information about our annual report to give them an overview of what has happened here at the co-op for the year.”

During the meeting, members will be able to hear reports on the cooperative’s finances and programs, as well as elect directors. They will also be able to express their ideas, and concerns and speak about other situations regarding their electrical services.
