LOVEJOY, Ga. — One person is dead, and an investigation is underway after a shooting involving a Lovejoy Police Officer started from seeing a suspicious car inside a parking lot, authorities said.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, a Lovejoy Police Department Officer saw a suspicious car inside a county parking lot shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. When the officer approached the car to check the vehicle’s registration, the officer saw 40-year-old Jean A. Cesar of Hampton inside.
