13 employers in Mississauga and Brampton make top 100 list in Canada [Video]

Canada’s Top 100 Employers list for 2025 is out and 13 companies based in Mississauga and Brampton made the list.

Mediacorp Canada Inc. just put out its Canada’s Top 100 Employers list.

After 25 years, the list continues to evolve and change with the times.

“Twenty-five years ago, it wasn’t easy for readers to find information on best practices in the workplace,” said Richard Yerema, Mediacorp executive editor. “The idea behind the competition was to create more transparency about what employers offered in terms of their benefits and culture, so we could start a conversation about work and workplaces.”

On the first list, 25 years ago, only eight winners offered paid vacation allowance of four weeks or more to start. Today, 31 winners are at this level and the number continues to grow.
