13th annual Lancaster County ExtraGive supports local nonprofits [Video]

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — There are just a couple of hours left to participate in Lancaster County’s biggest day of giving, ExtraGive. 

For 24 hours every year, the community comes together to celebrate and give back to hundreds of community non-profit organizations. Benefiting operations include The American Heart Association and the Humane League of Lancaster County. 

This is the 13th year of ExtraGive and organizers say it gets bigger and better every year. 

As of 11:00 p.m., over 23,500 donors have raised over $9 million for 444 organizations. 

Starting in 2012, ExtraGive has reportedly raised more than $100 million for the community. 

The event ends at midnight.
