WYOMING, MI – Three candidates are seeking an open, at-large seat on the Wyoming City Council.
The candidates for the four-year seat are Sheldon DeKryger, Robert Kilgo and Rick Pilieci. The top two vote-getters will square off in the November general election, unless someone receives 51% of the vote.
MLive has partnered with the League of Women Voters of Michigan Education Fund this year to provide voters with a Vote411 election guide. Candidates were asked to complete some general information about their campaigns and answer a few questions from the League of Women Voters.
- DeKryger is a small-business owner and has represented the 1st Ward on the City Council for six years.
- Kilgo is assistant to the president at Grace Christian University and served as Parks and Recreation Commissioner, Wyoming Parks and Rec Department; Officer’s Compensation Commissioner, Wyoming City Hall.
- Pilieci did not complete the 411 voter election guide.
