A total of 36 Irish start-ups have been selected to showcase themselves at the 2024 Web Summit in Lisbon next month.
As part of the Irish Startup Network Initiative, each of the companies will receive a complimentary start-up package to exhibit at Web Summit Lisbon, including space on the event floor and dedicated pre-event support to get the most out of the experience.
More than 70,000 people, 3,000 start-ups and 500 investors from around the world will attend the Web Summit, taking place from 11-14 November, and the start-ups will be hoping to secure contracts, investment or business partnerships.
Data published this week shows that over the past three years, startups exhibiting at Web Summit raised on average €1.9m more in funding than equivalent startups which didn’t attend.
Last year, 24 Irish start-ups exhibited at Web Summit. Since then, three have raised funding, and others have signed commercial partnerships or sales deals.
