One in hospital after Omaha car fire Friday

One person is injured after a car caught on fire near downtown Omaha early Friday.

At about 1:45 a.m., fire crews were called to the area of 17th and Nicholas streets for the incident.

We are told that the victim was taken to the hospital with severe injures.

Police and rescue personnel responded to a small plane crash in southwest Omaha Thursday evening.
