Chicopee fireworks rescheduled to July 19th at Szot Park [Video]

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – The Chicopee fireworks celebration has officially been rescheduled to Friday, July 19th at Szot Park.

This comes after the fireworks were postponed last week due to the weather.

The fireworks will start around 9 p.m. but attendees are encouraged to arrive earlier to get a good viewing spot.

Food vendors will also be on-site providing refreshments throughout the night.

The rain date for the new show is scheduled for July 20th and 21st.
