Customers can tap their phones at registers to pay without taking out a card.

Apple Pay is one of the most popular tap-to-pay services since people with iPhones automatically have the feature.

Surprisingly, Walmart doesn’t accept the payment.

Rather, the company has its own contactless payment service, Walmart Pay, in the app.

“I walked in and straight out of Walmart bc I forgot they don’t have Apple Pay. Like it’s literally 2024,” wrote customer Faby (@fabyanaaaa) on X.
