A tropical feel outside this morning, and a First Alert for storms on Saturday [Video]

Expect tropical-like downpours today with a lot of humidity! A few storms are possible this evening though coverage looks isolated.

Meteorologist Scott Gagliardi tracked the possibility of some storms Friday, and a First Alert for more on Saturday. Here’s his Friday 7:20 a.m. forecast.

It’s a humid night across CT. Skies remain cloudy with spotty showers, allowing temperatures to stay in the upper 60s and low 70s.

Meteorologist Mike Slifer said a First Alert is in effect for Saturday as humid air will likely fuel a higher coverage of showers and thunderstorms.

This afternoon features a mix of sun & clouds and highs climbing into the low and middle 80s (a few inland towns may touch the upper 80s if we can get enough sunshine).
