Conn’s HomePlus stores in East Texas among locations closing [Video]

TYLER, Texas — East Texas locations of the home goods store Conn’s HomePlus are shutting down after the 134-year-old furniture and electronics retailer recently filed for bankruptcy.

Tyler, Longview, Lufkin and Texarkana Conn’s are closing their doors as well as all other locations. The stores are hosting a going out of business sale saying that everything must go with items 30 to 50% off in store and online. 

According to USA Today, the furniture and electronics retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Tuesday and began announcing plans for store closures. Since that announcement, the company has decided to close all locations.
