A Wayland construction worker who is employed by a company contracted with the town was hit by a truck while working, according to a statement from the Wayland chief of police.
Friday around 11:04 a.m., Wayland police and firefighters responded to a report of a construction worker who was hit by a vehicle while working at Stonebridge Road, police said.
Once they arrived, crews found the worker who was suffering from injuries from the crash, police said. The worker was then flown to a local hospital by a medical helicopter.
