TPD investigating after fight starting with chainsaw ended with 1 person being shot | News [Video]

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police are investigating after a fight that started with a chainsaw ended with one person being shot in a neighborhood near Virgin and North Harvard.

Police said it started when a woman called her adult son saying her boyfriend was being aggressive with her.

Police said when the woman’s son showed up at the home, he and the boyfriend started fighting.

“The son was hit in the back of the head with a chainsaw. Obviously, it wasn’t running but it was still a chainsaw,” Tulsa Police Sgt. Darin Filak said.

Police said after the fight, the boyfriend left the home, but later made threats and came back.

When the boyfriend returned, police said the son shot the boyfriend in the leg during another argument.

The man who was shot is expected to be OK.
