Latest plans for downtown Cleveland lakefront show city could revamp Shoreway with or without Browns Stadium [Video]

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Mayor Justin Bibb has vowed since he took office in January 2022 to transform the poor connections between downtown Cleveland and Lake Erie after decades of failed attempts by earlier mayors, civic leaders and business groups.

From 4 to 7 p.m. Monday on Mall C downtown, the mayor and a team planners will unveil the latest ideas showing how the city can surmount barriers including rail lines, a 70-foot drop in elevation and the 50-mph Ohio 2 Shoreway. (Registration is available at clevelandnorthcoast.com.)
