Rain and storms in DC all week [Video]

WASHINGTON — We’re trading the extreme heat for rain during the week, with multiple rain chances and highs eventually getting back to the 80s.

What: rain and thunderstorm chances. Rain could be very heavy at times. Strong storms will be possible. 

When: Tuesday-Saturday 

Impact: slower traffic during commutes when storms are present. Reduced visibility under heavy rain. Outdoor plans may have to be moved indoors. Flooding possible. 

Need To Know: Be prepared for slower commutes. Avoid driving over flooded roads. Keep your devices charged. Be ready to take shelter indoors when storms arrive.
