Erisbeg-backed ORS acquires fire safety consultancy ProFire & Design [Video]

ORS, the multidisciplinary building consultancy backed by private equity group Erisbeg, has taken over Kildare-based fire safety consultancy ProFire & Design, its fourth acquisition in the past 12 months.

ORS has grown its revenues by 300% since 2022 to €25m, and it has sought to accelerate its growth strategy and double its capacity since Erisbeg took a majority stake last year.

Full-year accounts for 2022 show ORS made a profit of €506,200 in 2022 with turnover of nearly €8m, up from €346,600 and €6.8m a year prior.

The latest deal, ORS’s second in the fire safety consultancy sector, confirms the group as the largest provider of fire safety and disability access consultancy in Ireland.

ORS offers services across civil and structural engineering, project management, infrastructure, health and safety, building surveying, assigned certifier, fire safety, energy management, environmental, and mechanical and electrical services.
