Rite Aid continues store closures with 11 more locations shutting down [Video]

Rite Aid has continued to announce the closing of more of its stores.

The company announced 11 more closings in bankruptcy filings on Monday. Ten of the 11 stores are in Ohio and Michigan. One location will close in California.

Since the beginning of June, Rite Aid has announced that it would close 287 stores. All but four of the stores have been in Ohio and Michigan.

Rite Aid, which was based in East Pennsboro Township near Camp Hill for decades and is now based in Philadelphia, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October to begin restructuring to significantly reduce its debt.

Since October, the company has announced in bankruptcy filings the closing of 780 stores.
