Quantum Blockchain Technologies PLC chairman and CEO Francesco Gardin addressed questions about the company’s patent strategy. He explained that the company has decided to expand its operations internationally, focusing on key territories of interest. In terms of patents, Gardin highlighted the variation in attitudes among different patent offices, particularly regarding software patents. The company has chosen to work with a patent office that is more favourable towards software patents. If the patents are approved at the European level, they will automatically be approved in the UK as well, due to the UK’s adherence to EU legislation for patents.
