Alburnett and College Community schools launch new learning model for pathway after graduation [Video]

Linn County, Iowa (KCRG) – A new instructional learning model is being introduced to schools in Iowa for the first time, and the schools it’s being launched in are right here in Eastern Iowa.

Alburnett Community School District and College Community School District will launch the Three Dimensions of Education, or 3DE, program at the start of the school year.

The 3DE program by Junior Achievement will be bringing the business world into the classroom at Alburnett and College Community school districts.

The program will start with just the freshmen at both schools but will eventually grow to every high school student.

For a smaller school like Alburnett, sometimes it’s a struggle to offer students the same educational opportunities as bigger districts.
