CLARENCE, New York — A longtime Clarence steakhouse is transitioning to new ownership.
Kennedy’s Cove has been operating at 9800 Main St. since 1981 and under the ownership of Dave Janiki since 2001. Now he’s retiring and selling the business to longtime chef Jamison Reagan.
“I have mixed feelings, but it’s time. I’ve been here 23-24 years,” Janiki said.
Known for its hand-cut steaks and blackened seasoning, not much will change at the 44-seat restaurant: Reagan said he expects to keep things the same to honor Janiki, who he says has been like a father to him.
