Streaking Guardians take on Yankees big bats: Crowquill [Video]

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Guardians had a day off Monday after being swept in a three-game series by the Milwaukee Brewers. The Guards only managed to score four runs total in the series. Now Cleveland is facing the big bats of the New York Yankees as they try to hold off the Minnesota Twins and the Kansas City Royals in the race to win the AL Central.

The Yankees bats are led by Aaron Judge, who leads the league in home runs with 44. Judges’s teammate, Juan Soto, has hit 34 home runs and as a team the Yankees have hit 188 homers.

In comparison the Guardians, led by Jose Ramirez’s 32 homers, have hit only 142 homers, though that total is already more than the 124 they hit last season. The Guards will probably have to score more than four runs in three games to challenge the Yankees, but …
