HONOLULU (Island News) — The Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) announced that 20 previously suspended school bus routes in Central Oahu will run again Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.
Service is being restored for about 604 student riders across seven schools. This follows the 34 routes for 1,200 students that were reinstated last week.
The bus service contractor Ground Transport Inc. (GTI) has secured additional drivers and buses through Polynesian Adventure Tours.
