Traffic Advisory: Crescent City Connection HOV lane closures scheduled [Video]

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department issued a traffic advisory on Wednesday afternoon regarding roadwork on the Crescent City Connection starting at 11 p.m.

According to the NOPD, both east- and westbound HOV lanes on the CCC bridge will be closed due to the removal of concrete barriers.

The lane closures are expected to continue overnight until 4 a.m. on Thursday.

The CCC, formerly the Greater New Orleans Bridge, connects New Orleans and the Westbank via U.S. Highway 90 Business over the Mississippi River.
