There have been discussions both last week and this week about keeping the Kansas City Chiefs in Kansas City, Missouri, while there are also ongoing discussions about building the team a new domed stadium in Kansas City, Kansas.Both Missouri Gov. Mike Parson and Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly attended the annual Chiefs Kickoff Luncheon at a downtown Kansas City, Missouri, hotel Wednesday.While both states are pursuing a deal with the Chiefs, the approach from the two governors is entirely different.Parson said he’s had meetings both this week and last week and wants to get a deal in place before his term ends.“I’ve got four more months to go, and I plan on working every one of those days,” he said.Parson prefers that the Chiefs stay at a renovated Arrowhead Stadium.While Parson is actively involved in talks, currently without a concrete public plan in place, his counterpart in Kansas is taking a …
