STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAW) – It was another busy Thursday of early season high school football as several teams played their second games of the season. Some teams battled weather to still get games in as storms rolled through the western part of the state.
Beginning in Stevens Point, SPASH avenged their week one loss with a decisive 43-0 win over Superior. The Panthers got a pick-six from Jackson Spees and a long touchdown from Kyle Madlena to help build an early first-half lead. They’d put it in cruise control in the second half to win by 43. The Panthers are now 1-1 and will begin conference play next Friday against Eau Claire Memorial.
