Governor Inslee visits Spokane and talks with local organization, Latinos En Spokane, about the work they are doing to help the Latino community
SPOKANE, Wash. — Washington Governor Jay Inslee visited with Latinos En Spokane (LES) on Friday to talk about the services they provide to the Latino community in the area.
“These folks who come here, they establish businesses and they grow when we give them a little bit of help,” said Inslee.
LES is an organization that started six years ago advocating for the Latino community and providing resources to those who need help. Over the years, the organization has grown to help the community with pro-bono legal services, immigration services, food distribution and social work.
