The final Wall Street reaction from today’s Apple launch event of the iPhone 16 will be from UBS’ research desk:

And just like that, the Apple Glowtime event comes and goes, leaving little for bulls to latch onto regarding the “super cycle” dream as iPhone 16 pricing (across all 4 models) is set flat vs the iPhone 15. I would note that while this was UBS analyst David Vogt’s base case, there was a cohort of investors who had baked in a price increase to offset higher bill of materials. Feedback is a bit more muted than I would have suspected and I am surprised to see shares roughly flat now vs the initial kneejerk 1% drop, but I think that’s more a function of the busy conference week than anything else (although curious to see how the retail data shakes out on Tuesday).
