BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) – Every Tuesday for many families around the country serves as Taco Tuesday – a day dedicated to the Mexican dish, served in many styles with many sides and toppings. But, today’s Taco Tuesday is even more special because to day is National Taco Day.
The history of tacos predates the arrival of the Europeans in Mexico when native people of the Valley of Mexico would eat tacos with small fish. Although the dish has come a long way from it’s origins, it’s still a staple of the Mexican culture.
